Development Coordinator

Tribune Tower is a 737,375-square-foot office tower built in 1925 and located in the heart of Chicago’s Magnificent Mile.  The property is undergoing a significant mixed-use redevelopment and we are currently seeking an experienced Development Coordinator to provide administrative support to our Development Team. Essential duties include:

  • Analyzes, researches and updates documents and processes including budgets, board materials, and highly confidential correspondence.
  • Creates related presentation materials, proposal documents and other correspondence for meetings with prospects, key partners and the other key audiences.
  • Effectively communicates with multiple level managers, supervisors, external clients, and vendors with minimal daily supervision.
  • Performs administrative and office support functions for senior executives including scheduling, meeting planning, travel arrangements, expense management, document management and filing.
  • Manages all incoming telephone calls; answers general questions from brokers, vendors and other internal and external customers.
  • Coordinates and tracks key initiatives, projects and events.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree plus minimum 5 years of administrative experience, preferably supporting senior management within a professional services, financial services or law firm environment.  Experience in marketing or event planning also preferred. 

Individual should be detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.  Must be able to handle the highest level of confidential issues with the utmost sensitivity.  Must have an advanced level of proficiency using current Microsoft Office Suite.
